The spreadsheet is updated as of 12/18/2016!
One of the most popular items on our website is this Rental Profit and Loss spreadsheet. Over last few months we’ve received several questions and more than a few reports of problems and bugs. We also received a couple of requests for changes and we’ve tried to accommodate all that we could.
The updated workbook now supports tracking expenses and income for individual units. There is now also a report that summarizes all units on one page.
Lastly, I removed the password from most of the pages so people can modify the workbook to meet their own needs. Good luck and hope you find it useful!
You can find a full description, and simple instructions here….

Hi,,I am excited to use your income and expense spreadsheet. How do I get the individual property report to fill in. I have fill in every other sheet, but the individual report to fill in. Thank you.

Hi Audy! The individual report will fill in automatically when you select the property name from the drop-down. That is cell A3 (first cell, 3rd row down from the top.
In the blank spreadsheet it will say “123 Main St., Anytown”. You should select the name of your property, of course.

Hi, I too am trying to get the individual property report to fill in and to correct an issue with a field auto-popuating and it asks for a password. Can you tell me what the password is? Thanks.

I have downloaded the updated version and I thought that it was supposed to be unprotected, but it still asks for a password when I try to make some changes (e.g. beginning on row 45 the date formatting changes and I cannot make the change to have it match the previous formatting.)
Anf it still asks for a password. Is it possible to get the password.
I love this template for tracking income and expenses. I’ll bet I’ve spent hours looking at, downloading and purchasing these kinds of templates. I think this is the best I’ve seen, for my purposes. I sure hope that you can help me!
